When I became Leader of the Liberal Party in Tasmania, I made a commitment to travel the state extensively to meet as many people as possible, and to find out what is important to them.

200 Tassie Towns will take me and the  Liberal team around Tasmania meeting with people, businesses, local councils, community groups, and industry associations.  It will involve public forums, policy roundtables and community events.

We will meet with people in the regions and rural areas, not focusing on the major centres.

It will give us the opportunity to promote our messages, explain our policies, and spell out clearly what we stand for.

And it will let people tell us their views and how we can better represent them in State Parliament.

We will not presume to know what is right for people, and what the answers are. But we will listen to people, we will find out, and we will act.
