Threat to Survival
Clearing of rainforest has reduced their number. |
| Behaviour
Bats spend daytime in very large camps. These camps are found in the upper canopy of taller trees in rainforests. The bats do not sleep much and spend their time squawking and squabbling amongst themselves. At dusk they leave the trees, to begin their nightime feeding. |
