I would like to drive to the Devil's Marbles, Alice Springs and Uluru in a 4 wheel drive.  You could go by bus, plane, car or bike.

The desert is a long way from Sydney.  it is very dangerous of you don't bring the right equipment.  To survive safely in the desert, you need food, water, good reliable transport, a first aid kit, clothing for protection from sun and wind, a map and compass.

Tourism helps the desert dwellers.  Taking photos helps advertise desert areas to other people.  Tourism gives them jobs.

Aboriginal people don't like tourists walking on their rock.
