The Thorny Devil is a reptile with four legs. It has light and dark brown lumps and stripes. See my illustration and internet pictures for a better idea. Its diet is usually one breed of ant and termites. Snakes and big lizards eat the Thorny Devil.
The female Throny Devil lays three to ten eggs, but usually eight in November or December. The female Thorny Devil looks after the babies. They live in Northern Australia and South Queensland.
Did you know that the Thorny Devil is camouflaged? It has a sticky tongue.
He is very small. Do you know how small he is? Only 16cm. See my diorama!
