The Aboriginal religion is made up of hundreds of myths and beliefs about the world around them.  It is closely linked with their home and its well being.  Many rocks are considered to be sacred, including Ayers Rock.  They are thought to be the homes of the spirits.

The Aborigines believe that the land as it is today was created in a period called Dreamtime.  Before this, the world was a flat, grey place.  Giant mythical creatures roamed the land, creating its feaures and the plants and animals.  Look at my diorama!
