Eco-sleuths

Earlier this year 5/6S participated in Murder Under the Microscope.  Murder Under the Microscope is a an interactive eco-game designed for students to have fun while learning about environmental issues. We were presented with a mystery, an eco-crime that had been committed in a catchment somewhere in Australia.  Clues about the mystery were posted on the internet and through SBS television broadcasts.  To solve the murder mystery, we had to name the victim, villain and the crime site.  We looked at the following issues that affect our environment.

Stormwater Salinity
Vegetation Nutrients
Sediment and Silt Accidents
Flow Run-off
Water Temperature Land Use
