| Where does stormwater come
from and where does it go?
Storm water comes from roof tops, roads,
basketball courts, car parks and anywhere that the water can't sink into
the ground.
Storm water goes into the drains and ends
up in our waterways. |

Maybe it's not just stormwater.
What else might be carried along in the water that we can see?
Cigarette butts, dog poo, food wrappings
and drink containers. Anything that is dropped on the ground. |
| Are there things you can't
see being carried in the water?
Germs, pesticides, fertilizers, oils, detergents
and sewerage. |
