Some plants of the  forests

Australian Bluebells (Wahlenbergia spp) are abundant.

Pinkwoods (Eucryphia moorei) are a most beautiful rainforest tree of the region.

The Rose-leaf bramble (Rubus rosifolius) is one of the food plants not so eagerly sought nowadays.

Luminous fungi grow on old stumps and harbour special residents.

The tree waratahs have an amazing range of colours. Sometimes the crimson is tinged with blue, similar to a certain bird.

Something was eating the tree waratah flowers. What could it have been?

Some plants are so common they hardly bear notice.

Others require a little attention.
