Surveys of all Ratepayers were conducted to establish community opinion on all major issues, and the results were conveyed to Council. Councillors and Council officers, with whom the Committee dealt, were included in the newsletter mailing so that there could be no hidden agendas. Council reacted well to the creation of our Association and, over time, became more confident of the authenticity of the Association's representations.
