We
are Rob and Noline from Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory of
Australia
Where
did we come from?

Rob
was born in the city of Bath, England in 1953. His father was English,
from Gillingham in Kent. His mother was born in the small British
island colony of Bermuda which is in the Atlantic ocean off the coast of
the USA and north of the Caribbean islands. Rob's mother still lives
in Canberra. Rob's family migrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1957.
They moved to Canberra in 1963 and, apart from working holidays all over
Australia, he has lived there ever since.
Noline was born in
1946 in the small town of Murwillumbah in the far north of the state of
New South Wales, Australia. Noline's father was from Bellingen, New
South Wales and her mother was born in Wauchope, New South Wales.
Noline moved to university in Armidale and then to her first teaching job
in Sydney in 1967. She and her first husband moved to Canberra in
1970.
