Getting Started
Use
Download and install LunarPhase Pro as a full functional Windows version (for $ 44.95US) or as a Trial version (free) from http://www.nightskyobserver.com/LunarPhasePro. The main screen is shown below:
To obtain extensive infomation on the Moon you need to firstly input your site data into the LunarPhase Pro Configuration screen.
Terminator Features
This software is designed to show extensive data on the Moon and features on the terminator for your site on a particular calendar date, this can be found from the Lunar Explorer screen.
Observing
I suggest you commence seeking information on the Moon by experimenting with the many options available. I find the terminator features and the screen options very helpful to find the topocentric longitude of the features on the terminator from day to day.
