THE LUNAR ECLIPSE OBSERVER

Results are rolling in by e-mail from those observers who have participated in a world-wide observing program and contributed to my on-going study of the geometry of the Earth's atmosphere. A report of the analysis of crater timings made during the total lunar eclipse of 1996 September 26-27 is given, and will be regularly up-dated as more data comes to hand.

I will analyse your 1996 SEPTEMBER 26-27 LUNAR ECLIPSE crater timing observations and/or video recordings, if you send your data to my observatory address above, or by e-mail minnah@netspeed.com.au.

NEW ON 30 SEPTEMBER 1996

The analysis of crater timings contributed by astronomers observing the total eclipse throughout the world is presented, including a link to the Analysis of real time images of this eclipse in another new web page.

Both can be found through the following link click to view the analysis of the 1996 September 27 total lunar eclipse.

If you would like to participate and observe the next partial lunar eclipse of 1997 March 24, please forward your site details (Longitude, Latitude, Elevation or just your nearest MAJOR CITY & COUNTRY) and I will confirm the visibility of the Moon in your part of the globe, and
