Sire: ANZ.CH Edenmist Tri in My Image           Dam: AUST.CH Shelma Black Lace
Cilla was the result of a repeat mating, the first proving successful. The litter was whelped and reared by Barbara Hodson. On one of my trips back to N.Z I was to pick her up and take her back to Australia. She was about 3 1/2 months old when I saw her, and l loved everything about her.
Her first show was a Sheltie Champ show in Melbourne at just under 6 months old. She took Best Baby Puppy In Show. At about 7 months she won her first challenge, and by 10 months she had her title. She had a great show record for her age, her last challenge was won at her last show before moving back to N.Z, I tell you I was on tenterhooks that day. In the four months it took her to gain her title she won:
1 Reserve In Show ( all breeds )
2 Best Puppy In Show ( All Breeds )
2 Best Of Groups
6 Best Puppy Of Groups
I couldn't have been happier with her. Upon our return to N.Z after coating up she won B.I.S at the Central Shetland Sheepdog Champ Show under Rosemary Marshell U.K ( Forestland Kennels ). After winning another challenge I left her in N.Z to try for her N.Z title and have a litter. She has been living at Shelma Kennel with Roy and Carol Lindsay and really enjoying travelling around. He has had some nice wins with her at In Show levels. She only needs one point now for her N.Z title. I really miss her and will have her back when she finishes her materal duties. She was a pleasure to have and show.
