Sire: ANZ.CH Edenmist Tri In My Image           Dam: Edenmist Brass n Class
Earlier under Troy I mentioned how I let Troy go as I could repeat the mating. Well that is what happened and was fortunate enough to get Cara Edenmist Brass N Class. She didn't quite come up to expectations for the ring although a very sweet bitch, so she was placed into a pet home, where she could be accessed later for a litter.
It was decided to use Shadow over her and 9 weeks later, one, sable and white bitch was born. It was a struggle right from the start with her, as Mum wasn't feeding her. It was decided to tube feed her. She was a fighter from the start, and after many sleepless nights and worry she came through. June Steffert was to have her; she fell in love with her from the start, and watched her grow, bigger and stronger. June would bring her for visits round to our house in her picnic basket, as she was so little. At that point you could see the determination building, as she would fly at my other pup if he went anywhere near HER toys on the ground.
How could one be so lucky with only the one to have her end up such a show success? She would show her head off although at times was more interested in showing for every other ring but the one she was in. She painted a delightful picture in the ring with her ears right on top of her head and her lovely outline. I remember how she would eyeball a judge and bark at him if he dared to come too close, and if she won I'm sure she knew it and would bark, and dance around to let every one know.
Her wins started at B.P in show at a Working Dog Champ Show and she carried on her winning way, with many Groups and In Show wins. When she won Res. In Show (All Breeds), we were delighted for June. When she won B.I.Show we were all over the moon. She didn't need to do any more as far as we were concerned she had done the ultimate.
