Hobart City and Town Halls, Argyle and Macquarie Streets, Hobart.
City Hall will be the main dance venue with the Town Hall providing an alternate workshop venue just a short walk from the main hall.
No smoking is permitted in either of the halls.
All dance levels will be catered for with 3 halls to be used for workshops and the main dance sessions with mixed levels of dance routines.
There will be no official transport arrangements as the majority of the recommended accommodation is within walking distance of the venue.
There will be a banner parade for Clubs by State on Friday night. More detail will be provided as the time draws near.
An Instructors/Leaders meeting will be held on Friday, 11 August 2006, from 10am until 12pm in the Hobart City Hall (light lunch provided).
The Annual General Meeting will follow at 2pm.
To Celebrate the FIRST Tasmanian National Convention...
You will be able to relax and enjoy a 3 course buffet style lunch after the final workshops on Sunday. What a great way to complete a wonderful weekend of clogging!

We are offering both Convention t-shirts and polar fleece jackets - must be pre-ordered and paid for with your Registration. Please note: the polar fleece jackets are a very generous size.
Tasmanian Government Incentive Scheme:
The ACA is entitled to an incentive subsidy from the Tasmanian Government for each interstate delegate who stays for a minimum of 2 nights in registered accommodation to attend the Convention.
The subsidy has allowed us to offer you a reduced price for your weekend ticket.
We will be asking you to advise the name of your accommodation when you collect your Registration packs at the Convention.
If your accommodation is known at the time of completing your Dancer Registration Form, please insert the details where indicated on the Form.
Please ensure that your shoes are in good condition. Faulty taps will not be allowed on the dance floors.Taps will need to be taped. Taps will be checked prior to you entering the dance venues.
Vendor Booth space is available for the nominal fee of $25. Please email the Secretary of the Committe, Lorraine Peisley at peisley@actewagl.net.au.
The use of video cameras will be allowed at the back of each hall (there may be a small charge). The Committee reserves the right to limit or remove cameras from halls if they become intrusive.
Kathy, Jan and Lorraine will all be in Hobart from Monday, 7 August 2006.
