About Finswimming... Finswimming races are like ordinary swimming races but much faster! The world mens 100m finswimming surface record is 35.59 secs the 100m swimming freestyle record is 47.84 secs. Finswimming uses a big fibreglass or carbon fibre monofin driven by both feet. Flippers can also be used. There are three kinds of races in the pool and are run like swimming races:

Vikings Finswimming has acquired a number of WaterWay monofins and are pleased to recommend them. SpearGear Australia in Brisbane is an Australian distributor for Special Fins who make a variety of Carbon fibre and composite/glass monofins (and heaps of bi-fins) for freediving and finswimming purposes. OZFIN is the national sports organisation for finswimming. CMAS is the international organisation which governs finswimming ― look under the Sports Committee tab then Finswimming.
