Stuff worthy of note ... (maybe)
This page is still being considered.
There's a lot to think about,
when you put yourself "out into the public".
So, perhaps just a few "fast facts" about me:
I'm now in the "experienced" age group. (i.e. "non-employed".)
I was a high school teacher for 20 years - Sydney, Queanbeyan, Canberra.
I grew up in Sydney and moved to Canberra at the end of 1983.
I went to North Sydney Boys' High School.
I "recovered" from teaching, and became a Senior Public Servant, in IT, for 17 years.
And also throw in 11 years working behind bars (clubs, not gaol).
And various other shorter term employments.
And in a way, I still have a life behind bars ... handlebars.
I have a son, 25, a tradie,
and a daughter, 27, an Air Force pilot.
I also have 3 other "adopted" kids, 25, 28, 30 with my second marriage.
We lost our house and contents in the 2003 Canberra bushfires.
Yes, divorced after 22 years (4 years after bushfire), and now 12 years with my love.
Ahhhhh ... life experience. :-)
Now that we have the time, and are empty-nesters, we're travelling lots.
We've both been involved in the front-end, and back-end of the Canberra
motorbike riding community. We met riding.
I've ridden bikes most of my adult life and just love it.
In my early twenties I "directored" many mini-bike camps during school holidays.
"Goodie" has a BMW F700/800GS and an XT250 (her 7th and 8th bikes),
and I have a Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport, and a KLE500 at present, (my "nth" bikes).
We also have a Gilroy Indian Scout (one of the last 300 made).
I'm a born-again CHRISTian,.
as the "Jesus" page on this site explains.
Maybe this photo' is closer to the truth ...
even if not taken yesterday.
