Your Host Club, the Merimbula Grasshoppers has to and will obtain sanction and thus clearance to hold this tournament from the Far South Coast Soccer Association, Southern Branch Soccer Federation and Soccer New South Wales.

Having obtained these clearances will in fact activate/maintain our Insurance cover with Soccer NSW.

The Berrambool Sports Complex has its own Public Risk cover, being operated by a sub-committee of the Bega Valley Shire Council.

You, as likely tournament participants, will also have to obtain clearance (sanction) from your governing bodies in order to maintain your Insurance cover.

This governing body is in the first instance your:

1. Club
2. Association and concerning inter-branch teams
3. Branch and for interstate team
4. State Federation.

To get these clearances you may have to start proceedings early, as in the past we experienced some unreasonable delays.

This all seems an incredible lot of nonsense, yet it has become mandatory due to the advent of litigation and its nasty consequences.

So please don't despair, just get things going early and when complete forward the completed form, which you can download from our web site.
