The Merimbula Grasshoppers Soccer Club present the Easter Tournament for U/13 boys & U/14 girls. This tournament commenced in 1981 as a follow on to the U/12 Centenary Cup for boys with the aim to give the local juniors something to cut their teeth on. To that end we have certainly succeeded.

Over the years we have managed to attract numerous teams from the Eastern States, representing their Associations or Clubs, even as far as Rotorua (New Zealand). It takes a very good team to win this carnival, as our records over the past years show.

But it is not all about winning. It is about participating, learning and enjoying this town and area, a well known holiday destination for many years for visitors mainly from Victoria, inland NSW and lately the ACT.

Merimbula and the surrounding area has ample accommodation and many diverse eating places and is well equipped to handle large number of tourists.
