I purchased my red 1989 Corvette Coupe on 31 October 1998. Living Down Under, Corvettes are rare and expensive but definitely worth it. Cruising around town is great, the thing turns heads left and right.  It had only 47600 km (29750 miles) on the clock when I bought it and I'll be enjoying  every km I add to it from now on.

I've just purchased myself a G-TECH performance meter. This is one of the coolest gadgets about measuring   0-100kph,   0-400m,   braking 100kph-0,   lateral  and  longitudinal  G's  using  a  G force accelerometer and a  RISC  chip to convert  the data.    Groovy.   It also estimates your rear wheel horsepower  based on the vehicles weight,  speed and performance results.   So now I can start all those modifications any performance hungry Vetter can't resist.   As I go I'll update with  mods and effective performace increases (hopefully). Bloody expensive hobby. But life's short. Enjoy!
