BOXFORD INTERNATIONAL GARDENS
A HERITAGE GARDEN OF THE NATIONAL TRUST

Boxford is located in a leafy suburb of Canberra, the National Capital of Australia. Situated on half an acre of land, the garden is divided into six separate sections, each reflecting the garden history and culture of a different part of the world. The owners, Polly and Peter Park, have visited great gardens in over 40 countries. From this experience they believe that a garden should include the following features: architecture, art, water feature, trees and flowers to provide accents. The gardens have been created in a classical style presenting a complete picture or mood rather than individual unrelated points of interest.

Knot Garden - Miniature Chinese Garden - Japanese Garden - Italian Garden - Brazilian Garden - Indian Garden

Opening Times

The gardens are open by appointment from the end of September to the beginning of May. Two open days are held each year for the Australian Open Garden Scheme, one in Spring and one in Autumn. Contact Polly and Peter Park for more details.
